Dr.
Anne Willenborg completed her pediatric residency at the Albert Einstein
College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY, where she
spent an additional year as a Pediatric Chief Resident. After leaving
the New York metropolitan area, Dr. Willenborg was in private practice
in State College, PA, while her husband completed his graduate studies.
She then joined the pediatric staff at Connecticut Children's Medical
Center before joining her partners at Mansfield Pediatrics in August
1997.
Dr. Willenborg is certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and
Pediatric Advance Life Support. She is a Physician Champion for the Easy
Breathing Asthma Management Program. Dr. Willenborg was also actively
involved in bringing to Mansfield Pediatrics "Reach Out and Read," a
program promoting literacy in children. She has served on many committees
at Windham Community Memorial Hospital including Chief of Pediatrics,
Chair of the Medical Records Committee, Quality Improvement and the Nominating
Committee.
Dr. Willenborg is very active in the community. She loves spending time
with her husband
and three children. As an avid outdoor enthusiast she greatly enjoys
riding her horse, hiking, swimming in the ocean and running on local
roads and trails.
