After completing his pediatric residency at the University
of Medicine and Dentistry at Children's Hospital of New
Jersey, Dr. Elliott returned to Connecticut, having grown
up in Manchester. His career in general pediatrics as
a solo practitioner began in August of 1990 until he
joined Dr. Kelly in 1994, and they established Mansfield
Pediatrics, LLC. Dr. Elliott developed a keen interest
in adolescence medicine and pediatric asthma management
and treatment.
Dr. Elliott is involved in the community as
Medical Director for the Windham based school Health Clinic as well as
school physician to many of our local and private schools. He is currently
involved with the Easy Breathing Asthma Management Program and is an
Easy Breathing Physician Champion involved in training and implementing
the program into pediatric practices in Connecticut. Dr. Elliott has
his Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification and is a certified
regional instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program in Connecticut.
He
has served on many committees at Windham Community Memorial Hospital
including Chief of Pediatrics, Chairmen of the Credentials Committee,
member of Medical Executive Committee and Quality Improvement.
Dr. Elliott is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, skiing,
scuba diving, boating, summers at the beach and most important to spend
quality time with his wife and two daughters. He and his family reside
in Storrs.
